PS3 Firmware 3.42 Disables Jailbreak

So the new firmware blocks the jailbreak. The devs working on the next version of the jailbreak software say that it will work on "any firmware" so we'll have to wait and see. As for now, I won't be updating my firmware.
Easy way to bypass the firmware update for now:
Go into your PS3's Network settings
Set the DNS nameservers to Custom/Manual
Change both of them to: 67.202.81.137

  7. I still can't believe they already hacked the PS3. I recently read before it happened that it would be impossible to do.

  8. Well, it's only a matter of time until they break through that as well.
